Walking Tall with G-MAN Continues to Make Waves

Walking Tall with G-MAN Turns TWO

On the 14th of September 2016, I decided to create Walking Tall with G-MAN and go on a journey to become a Motivational Speaker and Sports YouTuber. My goal was to inspire, motivate and encourage people to never give up in life. I also wanted to raise awareness for people with disabilities letting everyone know that we are all equal just that some of us are differently abled.

Walking Tall with G-MAN gave me the opportunity to share my sporting passion, share my thoughts, predictions, reviews with the world and by doing this I have reached people in Ireland, UK, New Zealand, USA, Australia and many more countries. One year ago I had a total of 480 subscribers, today I currently have over 6450 subscribers and over 750 000 views on my channel. This is more than I could have ever dreamed of and it’s only just the beginning.

Why Walking Tall with G-MAN has Changed my Life

This journey has completely changed my life because it has helped me grow as a person and the feedback that I have received has been overwhelming. I have been on two national radio station’s 5FM & Jacaranda FM. Earlier this year I was invited to join Gareth Cliff on Africa’s biggest podcast CliffCentral.

I have done motivational talks at various schools, spoken to young people who don’t have much and are sadly less fortunate than others, motivating them to never give up in life and encouraging them to go out there and achieve their dreams.

I have been on local radio stations Kingfisher FM & Bay-Fm 107.9 where I still feature on a weekly basis chatting about my love and passion which is sport. I was featured in our local Newspaper HeraldLIVE – Port Elizabeth and the Springboks, inserted a clip of one of my videos in their rugby advert when England Rugby toured South Africa in June.

I have done things that I never would have dreamed of doing and I can honestly say that I wouldn’t be here without the love and support from all the special people in my life. From the bottom of my heart I just want to personally thank my family, my friends, colleagues and every single supporter for encouraging me to go on this journey and continue to make waves, raise awareness, share my sporting passion and in general lend a helping hand to anyone who is feeling down or worthless.

“We aren’t given a good or bad life, we are given life and it’s up to us to make it great.” I mean it when I say that this is only the beginning and that I am only just getting started. What’s next for me you may ask, well we will just have to wait and see but one thing’s for sure is that I’m going to continue to make waves bigger than ever.

Love you all, stay safe & never give up! Gareth (G-MAN).
